The Pari Approach

Refreshed
never frozen

Botox® should soften expression lines without taking away what makes your face look like you. Treatment is placed thoughtfully and conservatively, based on how your features move and where tension shows most.

For first-time patients, we often start with a lighter approach and adjust over time if needed. The goal is balance, movement, and a refreshed look, not an overtreated appearance.

FAQ

Botox® questions

Still deciding? Book a consultation to talk through your goals and create a treatment plan based on your facial movement, features, and the areas you want to address.

Does Botox hurt?

Most clients feel only a few quick pinches. We use an ultra-fine needle and the whole treatment takes about 10 to 15 minutes.

How many units will I need?

It depends on the area, your muscle strength and the look you want. Typical ranges are shown in the face map above, and Dr. Parvina sets your exact dose at your consultation.

How much does Botox cost?

Botox is $10 per unit, so you pay only for what is injected. For example, forehead plus frown lines often takes about 25 to 40 units, or roughly $250 to $400. A lip flip is $100.

When will I see results?

Lines start to soften in 3 to 5 days, and your full result shows at about two weeks.

How long does Botox last?

Results usually last 3 to 4 months. With regular treatments, many clients find their results last a little longer over time.

Will I look frozen?

The goal is a softer, refreshed look while preserving natural expression. Dr. Parvina uses a conservative approach based on your facial movement and anatomy, and results can be reassessed at your two-week follow-up if any adjustment is needed.

Is there any downtime?

None for most clients. You may see tiny bumps at the injection points for about 20 minutes, and occasional light bruising that fades in a few days.

What should I avoid after Botox?

For the first 4 hours, stay upright and avoid rubbing or massaging the treated areas. For the rest of the day, skip intense workouts, saunas, facials, and microneedling or other treatments that put pressure or irritation on the treated areas. We’ll provide full aftercare instructions at your visit.

How do I prepare?

If your physician approves, avoid alcohol, aspirin, ibuprofen and fish oil for 24 to 48 hours beforehand to reduce bruising. Come with a clean face if you can.

What is the difference between Botox and filler?

Botox relaxes the muscles that cause expression lines, like forehead lines and crow’s feet. Filler adds volume to lips, cheeks or folds. Many clients combine both, which is why we offer the Plump & Perk and Kiss Me More combos.

Can Botox stop excessive sweating?

Yes. Botox® can be used to reduce excessive sweating in areas such as the underarms and hands by temporarily blocking the nerve signals that trigger sweat production. Results can last for several months, although duration varies by patient.

When should I start Botox?

There’s no single right age. Some clients start in their 20s or 30s when early expression lines begin to linger, while others start later. Treatment timing should be based on your facial movement, skin, and goals rather than age alone.

Who should not get Botox?

Botox® may not be appropriate during pregnancy or breastfeeding, for people with certain neuromuscular conditions, or for anyone with an active infection at the planned injection site. Your provider will review your medical history, medications, and treatment goals before your appointment to make sure Botox® is appropriate for you.

Where can I get Botox near me?

Pari Med Spa offers Botox® treatments at two convenient locations in Staten Island and Brooklyn. Each treatment is performed by Dr. Parvina Ibragimova, DNP, FNP-BC, with more than 10 years of experience in aesthetic medicine.
