Is SKINVIVE™ safe?

SKINVIVE™ is FDA-approved to improve cheek skin smoothness and the appearance of neck lines in adults 21 and older and is performed by a qualified medical provider. Common side effects are mild, such as redness, swelling, bumps or bruising at the injection sites, and usually resolve within a few days.

Is SKINVIVE™ filler, and does it add volume?

It’s made from hyaluronic acid like a filler, but it works differently. Filler adds volume and shape, while SKINVIVE™ is placed in tiny droplets to improve smoothness, hydration and glow without changing your features. It is not designed to add noticeable volume.

How long does SKINVIVE™ last?

Results can last up to 6 months with one treatment, and an optional touch-up can help maintain your glow.

When will I see results?

Most clients notice smoother, more radiant skin in about 2 to 3 weeks.

Does it hurt?

Most clients feel only small pinches. SKINVIVE™ contains lidocaine, and numbing cream can be applied for extra comfort.

Is there any downtime?

Very little. Small bumps, redness, swelling or light bruising may appear at the injection points and usually settle within a few days. Most clients return to their day right away.

What areas are FDA-approved?

SKINVIVE™ is FDA-approved for the cheeks and the neck. Other areas, such as the jawline, are consultation-based (off-label).

Who should avoid it?

SKINVIVE™ may not be appropriate during pregnancy or breastfeeding, with an active skin infection in the area, or with allergies to hyaluronic acid, lidocaine or the bacterial proteins used to make it. Your provider will review your medical history before treatment.

How is it different from mesotherapy?

SKINVIVE™ uses hyaluronic acid microdroplets focused on smoothness and hydration. Mesotherapy uses a customized blend of skin-supporting ingredients chosen for your skin’s needs.

How is it different from PRP?

PRP uses platelet-rich plasma from your own blood to support skin recovery and renewal. SKINVIVE™ is a hyaluronic acid treatment focused on smoothness and hydration.
